$15M for work at Amazon’s Nashville home gets final OK

Metro Council has given final approval to provide more than $15 million for infrastructure work at Nashville Yards, the downtown project that will house Amazon.com Inc.’s new Nashville operations hub. On the final of three readings, the council approved the funding by a 28-3 vote, The Tennessean reports. Voting no were John Cooper, Angie Henderson and Steve Glover. Developer Southwest Value Partners plans to spend about $80 million on infrastructure work at the site, which was formerly home to LifeWay. Nashville Business Journal
