In push to hire 2,000 in Raleigh, Infosys announces partnership with NC State

As Infosys’ headcount continues to rise in Raleigh, a new partnership with N.C. State University promises to bolster the talent it’s reeling in. In interviews, officials from Infosys, N.C. State and Wake County call the new collaboration huge for the region – and an example to be leveraged when other global companies searching for sites come calling. Infosys, which announced in 2017 plans to bring 2,000 jobs to North Carolina, has already hired 770 in the state – primarily in Raleigh at its new technology hub. Less than a year into its tenure at Raleigh’s Brier Creek, the Indian IT firm is nearing capacity at the technology center and is evaluating additional real estate options, says Ravi Kumar, president of Infosys.
