Yahoo Finance used data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and projections from the government-backed Projections Managing Partnership to track the top jobs by growth rate – as opposed to plentifulness – for each state. Overall, the analysis found construction and extraction jobs are in high demand in the U.S., along with installation, maintenance and repair services. Production jobs are also quickly developing, as are mathematical, solar energy, statistics and technology-related fields, Yahoo found.
